![]() The UMC series Interfaces are definitely NOT one of the Behringer POS pieces of gear from the past. I have the 4 ins on the back routed to my external preamps and 500 rack in line mode, 2 to the patch bay and the front 2 I leave open for easy hookup of whatever the situation calls for. When I needed more ins/outs I didn’t hesitate and bought the UMC1820. ![]() I used their UMC204HD for a ton of projects and they sounded great w/o using any external preamps or hardware. They are fairly basic, but have direct monitoring, lots of in/out options depending on the model and adat expansion to add additional preamps and routing. You want a cheap interface that performs well above it’s price point, the Behringer UMC series with Midas Preamps is it.
